BSR-IICRC S600 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Carpet Installation

The ANSI/IICRC S600 Standard and Reference Guide will cover both Residential and Commercial Carpet Installations. This industry consensus document will give specific guidance for the proper, recommended procedures for installing various carpet products in different types of installations.

Current Status: BSR-IICRC S600 Draft Standard and Reference Guide was available from Jan. 25 to March 11, 2013 for review and comment as part of the 45-day public review period.  The Consensus Body has also finished voting on the final approval ballot for the Standard. The Consensus Body is currently reviewing and addressing all public review comments submitted. The IICRC S600 Consensus Body will meet in person on April 2 and 3 at the Atlanta Airport Marriott. This is an open meeting and the Agenda will be to review and address public review comments and Consensus Body final approval ballot comments. For more information, contact Mili Washington.

Note: IICRC is developing the BSR-IICRC S600 as an ANSI Standard. BSR is the ANSI Board of Standards Review that reviews and approves Standards as American National Standards. All new Standards under development are designated as BSR-IICRC till such time that they receive final approval from ANSI and can be published.
