Live-Stream (Online Exams)

How do I find a Live-stream certification?

Where can I find the Candidate Agreement form?

The candidate agreement form is signed during online registration or when taking an IICRC certification in the classroom.  This form contains the IICRC Certified technician pledge.  Please CLICK HERE to review.

How will I take the exam upon certification completion?

All Live-stream certification applicants will complete the online exam using the IICRC Online Exam Portal.

The exam fee is £50.00

What is the exam fee?

The exam fee is AU$70.00.

How will I receive access to information about exam registration?

After you register for a Live-stream certification, you will be provided a digital Candidate Agreement link that will include exam registration from the provider. Once the exam registration is complete and payment is received, the IICRC exams team will create your exam profile and email you direct. The email will come from exams@iicrcnet.org

**Important you must include in your registration the following:

1. Course category (I.E. WRT, CCT)

2. Date course begins

3. Instructor name

4. Digital copy of a photo ID

How long is the exam registration good for?

You have 45 days to complete the exam from the last date of the certification. Please note that statistics show your chances of passing an exam are higher closer to the completion of the certification.

How much time do I have to complete the exam once started?

Every exam has a specific timeframe in which it must be completed. CLICK HERE to see Live-Stream exam times.

What if I fail?

You will be provided two opportunities to retest within 45 days of the date you took the exam.

What if I have issues during examination?

Can I receive CECs for attending a Live-stream certification?

An individual can attend a Live-stream course for CECs only at the discretion of the instructor/school. However all Live-stream courses are capped at 20 people total, and the student is counted if they are taking the exam or not.

Will attendance be taken during the duration of Live-stream certifications?

Attendance will be taken daily. You must attend every day for the entire duration or you forfeit your eligibility to receive Certification.

Renewals Process and Fees

What do I need to do to maintain my Certification(s)?

Pay your annual renewal fee each year.

Participate in continuing education (CEC) classes or events to maintain your continuing education credit hour requirements.

How do I pay my renewal fees?

Visit iicrc.org and select Sign In at the top right corner of the screen.

Log in and pay your renewal.

If you’re a Certified Technician logging in for the first time, contact renewals@iicrcnet.org for login credentials.

If you’re a Certified Firm logging in for the first time, contact certifiedfirms@iicrcnet.org for login credentials.

Can I edit my Certification(s) to show my company name?

Your Certifications follow you and not your company, so your Certifications must remain in your name. This allows you to take your Certifications with you regardless of the company you work for.

I have been expired for a long time, can I get reinstated?

If you’ve been expired for less than 24 months you must email renewals@iicrcnet.org to request your invoice.

If you’ve been expired for more than 24 months you must email reinstatements@iicrcnet.org to request a reinstatement. Applicable fees may be assessed for all reinstatements.

If you’re unsure how long you’ve been expired please contact renewals@iicrcnet.org .

My technician fee is AU$60.00 and my coworker’s technician fee is AU$70.00. Why is this?

You are billed based on the quantity and type of certifications that you carry.

Do I have to renew every year?

Yes. Annual renewal is required to keep your certifications active.

Can I pay my annual renewal fee by phone?

Unfortunately, we cannot process renewals via telephone. To ensure safe transactions, please log in to your account at iicrc.org to remit payment.

Where is my renewal invoice?

Your renewal invoice is emailed to the email address listed in your profile. If there is no email address on file, your invoice is mailed to the mailing address provided. To update your information, please submit an Update Form.

If you have not received your invoice, please email us at asiapacific@iicrcnet.org.

Please note: Renewal notifications arrive from asiapacific@iicrcnet.org and may be found in your junk or spam folder. Network firewall settings can reject the @iicrcnet.org send and prevent delivery.

Can I pay for all my certified staff renewal invoices at once?

Yes. IICRC staff can assist you with bulk payments for multiple renewal invoices. Please email renewals@iicrcnet.org for assistance.

Certified Firms can access and pay open invoices for linked technicians by logging into their online company profile.

Exam Delivery, Mailing, & Printing

How long will it take to receive my Certification(s)?

Certification processing takes 4-6 weeks from the date of exam completion.

Mailing of Certification is 7-10 business days from the date of Certification processing.

Why can’t I receive my Certification(s) via email?

Unfortunately, we cannot email your Certifications. The IICRC policy was updated in 2018 to remove the possibility of fraudulent Certifications being duplicated through email files.

Can I print my own Certification(s) online?

Certifications cannot be printed online at this time.

What address will my Certification packet be mailed to?

Your Certification packet is mailed to the mailing address listed in your online profile.

Continuing Education Requirements

What are CECs?

CECs are continuing education credit hours. All Certified Technicians are required to complete ongoing education to be eligible for renewal.

How many CECs do I need?

14 CECs (hours) every four years.

Master and Inspector Certifications require 14 CECs (hours) every two years.

Why do I need CECs? print my own Certification(s) online?

The continuing education requirement ensures ongoing knowledge within the industry.

How can I find CECs?

Will I receive CECs for attending industry Trade Shows/Events?

Yes, you can earn CECs in a few ways:

Registration at the IICRC booth during applicable trade shows receives two CEC hours.

Registration for educational tracks held at conventions or trade shows are awarded based on hours attended. Each hour of training equals one hour of continuing education hours. The maximum number of hours one can receive is 14. CEC hours do not carry over once the maximum number of CECs are reached.

Please note: Documentation is required to award CECs and varies from event.

How do I notify the IICRC that I’ve completed CEC hours?

You can email your Continuing Education Certificate of Completion to renewals@iicrcnet.org.

Please note: It is the technician’s responsibility to submit documentation to the IICRC for proper CEC credit hours.

Why is my CEC information not printed on my invoice?

Currently we cannot print your CEC details on your invoice. To obtain you CEC details, please log in to your online profile at iicrc.org to view your CEC status.

I want to be a CEC provider, what do I need to do?

How do I locate a ccertification in my area?

Certifications can be found at www.iicrccert.org.

Can you recommend a class?

Our office and staff cannot recommend specific Instructors or Schools.

Certified Firm/Technician Updates

I’m a Certified Technician and I changed companies, what do I do?

Go to iicrc.org and select CERTIFICATIONS from the navigation menu.

Select Certified Technicians > Update Form and complete the form.

Once you complete the Update Form and click submit.

Once we receive your update form, we will update your information and notify when it’s complete.

I’m a Certified Firm. How do I add/remove Certified Technicians from my company profile?

To remove a Certified Technician, visit iicrc.org and log in to your online profile.

Select the “Information & Settings” tab.

Select the “Technicians List/Other Locations”.

You can remove technicians by clicking the red “X” to the left of their name.

To add a new Certified Technician, please call 844-464-4272 x4 and our Certified Firms department can assist you.

I'm a Certified Firm and I want to access a list of my technicians, how do I do this?

IICRC Certified firms can view their technician list by logging into their online profile HERE.

Select the “Information & Settings” tab.

Select “Technician Lists/Other Locations”.

Here you can view a list of all current technicians.

I'm a Certified Firm and I want all of my technician invoices sent to my company email, how can I do this?

An Update Form is required for all technicians’ invoices to redirect to a company email. You must complete the locked fields in order to complete and submit the Update Form.

I'm a Certified Technician and I need to update my personal information, how can I do this?

Log in to your online profile HERE to update your personal information.

Please note: Locked fields in the profile require a signed update form.

I have multiple company locations, why is only one showing in the IICRC Global Locator?

Each company location must have:

  • At least one IICRC Certified Technician on staff.
  • Completed Certified Firm application and remit all the required documentation.

Submit the annual $199 fee.
